# Fairly

> Fairly (https://fairly.gg) compares PC game prices across authorized stores and game subscriptions. It shows the real checkout price (store fees and payment-method surcharges included), the cheapest way to play (buy, or subscribe), all-time lows and what is leaving Game Pass. Ranking is by price only, never by commission.

Prices are shown per region and currency (US/USD, EU/EUR, UK/GBP, TR/TRY). Some store links are affiliate links; the price does not change and ranking never depends on them.

## Data sources

- Steam: store prices, reviews and the game catalog.
- Stores fed through CheapShark: GOG, Epic, Humble, Fanatical, Green Man Gaming and other authorized stores.
- Xbox / Game Pass: PC Game Pass catalog and leave dates (Xbox Wire announcements).
- IGDB: time-to-beat (hours to finish) and genres.
- Marketplace (key reseller) offers are labeled and hidden by default.

## Freshness policy

Every price carries when it was fetched. Prices older than 24 hours are flagged "may be outdated" (stale: true); prices older than 72 hours are never shown. Source health is public at https://api.fairly.gg/v1/meta/status. Pages refresh within about 5 minutes of a new scrape.
